My Story
I believe that being candid, authentic, and practical are key to thriving in today’s world. I experienced a spectrum challenges in enabling people to achieve their best led, delivering results as an L&D leader that led to higher business impact. I have my initial resistance and a stubborn belief that the tools and processes that we had been using to design and deliver learning were the best way to achieve. That we must as learning professionals get the pure information as input to output in the form of learning.
But out there the world of business was changing faster than the fashion did. If I did not open my mind to find a way to keep pace, respond by reaching content in time, then I knew it would mean drudgery for. a long time. Following my curiosity, I knew I had to break out of my silo and reach out to the people, reach out to other domains and practices, UX, marketing..
Creating solutions with the new methods, new approach, process and seeing it work is what brought me to start Solutions for Learning. I captured the essence of my experiments into-a practical how-to book recently. The book is called What the heck do I do about upskilling the workforce?
Through Solutions for Learning I intent to show and tell that it is possible for L&D to respond with speed and achieve high business impact, high content consumption. I want to show and tell that you can start it today, give up overthinking there is a safe way to get raise the bar and innovate.
